Each fall, Hocking Hills and the remaining communities in the county put on a variety of events to keep you entertained. The fall season is the perfect time of year for such timing as the weather is gorgeous. Perhaps the biggest event to take place nearby in the fall is the Hocking County Fair. This annual is held the first Monday right after Labor Day for a huge event. You can find the Hocking County Fair taking place in Logan for a quick and easy drive from our vacation rentals. Huge Art Hall
The Hocking County Fair really does have something for everyone here at the event. One of the biggest activities is the art hall that features a variety of art vendors on hand. Visitors will be able to find some lovely works of art including crafts, photography prints, clothing, and flowers. Additional vendor booths can be found all throughout the ground fairs. Children will be provided nightly demonstrations in the art hall to help them get into arts and crafts themselves.
Livestock Shows and More
Part of the big draw to attending the Hocking County Fair is seeing incredible live demonstrations of livestock and other events. Check out exciting animals in a rodeo like atmosphere. Kids will get a kick out of the demolition derby and moto-cross events that take place in the same area. The garden tractor pull and tractor and truck pull are exciting country events you won’t find in the big cities.
Midway Rides
No fair would be complete without midway rides that will remind you of your childhood. You will find your typical fair rides such as Ferris wheels, mini coasters, and so much more. The food concessions will have your favorite comfort food too such as funnel cakes, pretzels, fried ice cream, and so much more. Yum!
Finding the Hocking County
The Hocking County Fair will take place on September 12th through the 18th of 2022. You can find it located at 150 North Homer Road in Logan. Entry is $7 per person and includes rides.
