The Retreat is a popular 4 bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 10 guests and 3 pets. Its located just a few miles from Old Man’s Cave, and has been professionally decorated. There are 3 levels of living space, a great upper level master suite, and lower level game room! The Retreat is within walking distance of Dragonfly Lodge, Night Song and Woods Edge, so its great for a stand alone rental or can be rented in combination of others for a larger group!

Fully stocked kitchen with plates/cups/bowls, glasses, silverware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, large and small (toaster, blender, mixer, drip coffee maker) appliances, and pots and pans. Starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent (if applicable), dish tabs (if applicable), and trash bags Linens and towels- Fully made beds with sheets, and comforters, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sponges for dishes, spare blankets (amount varies by property).
Common items to bring for your stay:
- Clothing and personal bath toiletries.
- Food and food related items- spices, coffee/flat bottom coffee filters, specific/unique small appliances (rice cooker, slow cooker, etc.)
- Firewood/Fire starting materials
- Beach towels for hot tub/pool (if applicable)
- Specific/preferred bedding and bedding for the pull-out beds and/or futons
Check In/Check Out Times
Check In is at 4 pm and Check Out is at 11/10 am depending on your property. (early check in/late check out can be added to your reservation for a fee, schedule permitting)

Damage Protection Coverage
Our Damage Protection program covers up to 10xs the fee that is charged. For example: if the damage protection fee is $30, then there will be $300 in coverage. Cabins and Lodges is responsible for filing all program claims on behalf of the tenants and the tenant will be notified in writing of any such claim. Tenant verification may be required in certain cases. Tenant will be responsible for the cost of repair of all damages that exceeds the coverage Limit of the Property Protection Program. The amount you pay for the Property Protection Program includes any related insurance, technology-support, service, and claims adjudication costs, along with administrative fees charged by the Cabins and Lodges for making this coverage available. This program does not cover intentional damage, those damages resulting from the negligence of tenant, or damages from non-compliance with the terms of this agreement. Determination of actual damages will be at the sole discretion of Cabins and Lodges and the program underwriter..

Family Christmas
We came to hocking hills for a family get away 🙂 this was our pre holiday kick off! We decorated Christmas cookies, went to the Christmas cave in minford and hiked a few of the trails. It was absolutely beautiful! Kids loved the game room and the adults love the hot tub 🙂 -
Great Cabin
Great cabin, close to Hocking Hills activities. It was clean and cozy with a wood burning fireplace. Nice gathering space available in the basement level with the hot tub right outside sliding doors. Although there are 2 full bathrooms, only 1 shower in the house. Would go again! -

Enjoyed being in the woods. Heard many types of birds each morning. Walked the roads - not busy so it made a nice walk. Hot tub was great. -
